So, I have decided that I am going to be doing a weekly blog. I've never really been great with words or expressing myself. This is going to help me! So here it goes, I will share with you all about my personal life, sessions, helpful and useful life hacks, tips, along with session tips too!
Today I am going to explain to you, why I do what I do! Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I feel like I was put on this earth to share my artistic ability through my photography. Being able to see how happy people are with my work is just the best feeling in the world!
After I had my daughter, I really realized how fast time actually goes. How important it is to capture all of the little things. I also realized how hard it is to raise little's! You're constantly putting your child's needs before your own. You are literally busy every single day taking care of that precious human being. You are struggling and yes you are tired EVERY SINGLE day! But honestly no one would trade it for anything? Once we have children we just adapt to our new way of life, we get into routine and we LOVE life. Our children are what push us to be successful and awesome! We look at those adorable faces and say, "dang I created that".
So, my why.... picture graduation day.... tears, right? YES! Your baby is becoming an adult, they are going to be spreading their wings and leaving home, going out in the work force, making life decision, going to college, creating their own families. The thing that hurts the most, they won't need us as much as they once did, they'll be adults! It makes us proud, but we will miss them being in the house being dependent on us, I mean we did spend the last 17 years of our lives taking care of them! I want my mommas to be able to look back at those photos I have taken and feel pride, joy, and happy tears that they are going to be successful adults in society!
A few more reasons I love doing what I do is because of my wonderful clients! These just make my heart smile!
"My daughter had the opportunity to work with Kayla and the traveling dress! She had so much fun. She did not stop talking about her “photo shoot” for days and could not wait to tell her friends and teachers"
"We had the pleasure of working with Kayla for my son's one year cake smash photoshoot... the time she took to make sure every detail of my vision came true... and the talent and creativity she put into editing is hard to beat. We love every SINGLE photo it's too hard to choose just one"
"Kayla is amazing! Before meeting her, I felt like my only choice was that horrible innovations place. Not anymore! We have found our new favorite photographer! I used to dread getting their pictures done because I knew I would never be 100% happy."
If you want to learn more about what goes into a child session, how laid back and fun it actually is be sure to check my daily blog I'll be definitely going over these things <3
